Biography
Born in Adana in 1978, Assoc. Prof. İlknur Banlı Cesur offers healing in a wide range from the newborn period to adolescence with her 20 years of experience in the field of pediatric surgery.
Throughout her professional life, she has aimed not only to treat diseases but also to improve the quality of life of children, inform families accurately and clearly, and offer a safe treatment process. Her scientific studies and academic journey are an integral part of her medical practice.
Career Journey
Born in Adana. Successfully completed high school education at Adana Girls' High School.
Entered Kayseri Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 2004.
Completed specialty training in the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Çukurova University.
Continued her work within Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital.
Contributed to the establishment of the Pediatric Surgery Department of UHS Adana City Hospital.
Obtained the title of Associate Professor in 2023 and worked as an Associate Professor Doctor within UHS.
Continuing to accept patients within Special Adana Ortadoğu Hospital as of May 2025.
